Sokol Counseling

I work with individual adults in Washington and Oregon. Ideally, I like to work with people who are ready to make changes. I will admit, therapy is work. My favorite clients do their homework, are introspective, and are optimistic for their future. And yet, I know that's not usually how an individual arrives at an online search tool for counselors in their area. Sometimes we come across a description on a website and think, "Maybe, just maybe... this person will get it and can help me - because I have run out of solutions and there is no hope." I have a background that affords me the ability to sit with hard lessons, traumatic events, and deep loss. I do not believe in unforgivable acts, for where there is life, there is hope. Let's do some of the heavy lifting together.
